March 28th- April 4th

HOLY WEEK

  • Palm Sunday, March 28th

Palm Sunday is not just Palm Sunday; it is more properly Palm/Passion Sunday. That slash is important. It is a reminder that there is risk involved in taking the side of the marginalized. There is danger in trying to upset the status quo. And just when you think you’ve won your point and gathered your crowd, you discover you are alone again. Service Times: 9:30am Contemporary Worship & Online, 11:00am Traditional Worship; 4:00pm Drive-In Worship

  • Maundy Thursday/Good Friday

    April 2nd, 6:30pm

In a way, Good Friday is not so much about understanding, but experiencing. That’s why mood is so important. What do you want to have happen in the core of those who participate in worship in this service? We can’t always give a meaning that will satisfy the mind. Who can explain this sacrifice of blood on a cross from one we have come to call Lord or Savior? SPECIAL PERFORMANCE from Wesley's Student Ministries. 6:30 pm In-Person & Online.

  • Holy Saturday Fireside

    April 3rd, 7:30pm (Online Only)

After sundown on Friday, the chief priests and Pharisees visited Pontius Pilate. They asked Pilate for a guard for Jesus’ tomb. They remembered Jesus saying that He would rise again in three days and wanted to do everything they could to prevent that. As we know, the Roman guards were inadequate to prevent the resurrection, and the women who returned to the tomb Sunday morning found it empty. This campfire edition will take a deeper look into our Christian understanding and the significance of Holy Saturday? 7:30pm. ONLINE ONLY.

  • Easter, April 4th

Let there be joy – however it takes to project it, whether in person or through a screen or even in print. Tell jokes, funny stories; let there be laughter. Easter is a day to feel, even more than to understand. It is a day to accept more than a day to explain. Even though our foundations have been shaken, we move forward, because that is where the Risen one is going. He is going ahead of you. Let’s keep moving forward. Service Times: 6:30am Sunrise (Field of Dreams Bandshell-West Melbourne) In person & Drive In; 9:30am Contemporary Worship Online Only; 11:00am Traditional Worship In Person.

NEW Easter Sermon Series
Begins April 4th

Of all the high holy days on the calendar of faith, Easter is by far the highest and the holiest.

There is no exuberance that is too loud, no expression of joy that is over the top, no exercise of new life that can be shut down. Easter calls for excess. Don’t let it slip in silently; it needs brass accompaniment. And not just on one day. Easter is not a day; it is a season. That is why our worship series grabs hold of Easter and runs all the way to Pentecost, breathless and panting for the Spirit to come and breathe new life into our lungs so that we can endure the journey through the long season after Pentecost. The joy of Easter needs to sustain us until the Spirit can launch us into the next phase of experiencing the kin-dom of God.
