Hurricane Helene caused massive flooding and historical storm surge from the southwest to northwest areas of the state and beyond.

Here are five ways you can help those in need across the state as we begin to rebuild.

• Pray. Continue to lift the impacted in prayer. 
• Give online Here 100% of donations to the Disaster Recovery Support Fund of The Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church goes to support the collaborative work of our Conference, districts, and local churches as we respond to disasters including hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding events, and more.
• Collect cleaning kits. Click here for a list of supplies and instructions on how to assemble a cleaning kit. Please be prepared to hold on to the kits until further notice from the Disaster Recovery Ministry.
• Call the Disaster Recovery call center. Dial 855-228-3862 to volunteer or share post-storm community needs.
